Hi Giancarlo,

Superbase Personal is purely an end-user version. It won't run any program code from Superbase. It will include tools to convert Superbase databases, forms, and reports into the new format (which is all in SIMPOL internally).

The conversion to SIMPOL will get easier and easier as we go forward, but it is already possible to convert piece by piece, so the best time to start is as soon as possible, to avoid adding new modules in Superbase that themselves will eventually need conversion. You can create a hybrid program, with Superbase and SIMPOL together.

Ciao, Neil

Papatuo Holdings Ltd. announce a plan to deliver an updated Superbase Personal end-user product that will run natively on 32-bit Windows.
When this update will be available?
Superbase Personal 32-bit will be able to run applications written with SuperBoxes?
I'm planning to migrate from Superbase to SIMPOL but that cannot happen immediately. So Superbase Personal 32-bit may be a valid help for the time necessary to the migration.
Thank You for all.

Thanks for the detailed conversion blog. This parallels the course suggested in the SIMPOL Getting Started doc, but fleshes it out with a real example. So far, my own conversion is going well, using the same strategy. I love the new Development IDE.
