SIMPOL Professional

SIMPOL Professional provides you with all the tools necessary to create applications easier and faster than ever before.

It is suitable for developing applications for mobile devices, laptops, desktops, local networks, multi-site networks and web servers.

You can run the resulting applications without change on Linux, Mac OS-X (*) and Windows (95, 98, NT, 2000, XP, Vista and Windows 7).

You can re-distribute your single-user applications built using the SIMPOL programming language and the redistributable libraries without paying for any sort of runtime license. You will need to buy a license for the SIMPOL Multi-User Database Engine for multi-user applications.

Later releases are planned for Windows CE, LIMO, SymbianOS and Java.

To make sure that you automatically receive all updates, we recommend that you choose the annual software maintenance contract.

SIMPOL Personal

SIMPOL Personal enables you to modify applications to change the screen layout, modify & create new printed reports and even change the database fields.

It is a light-weight end-user database product that enables includes you to create and maintain database tables, access single-user and multi-user databases, create forms and reports, import and export data, and to load and run extension program code. It runs natively on Linux. Mac OS-X (*) and Windows and is written completely in SIMPOL. A not-for-resale version is also included as part of SIMPOL Professional.

Using SIMPOL Personal, you can very easily create an application based on database tables, forms and reports. You can make multiple copies of your application and distribute them to others using SIMPOL Personal. If you want to create more extensive and tailored applications you can use SIMPOL Professional. If you are a developer, you can rapidly deploy your applications by writing them as extensions to SIMPOL Personal rather than reinventing all of that functionality over again.

SIMPOL Multi-User Database Engine

The SIMPOL Multi-User Database Engine is a powerful and high-speed database engine that can be run on Linux, Mac OS-X (*) and Windows. For each separate deployment location using the multi-user database capabilities of SIMPOL, a separate database engine license is required. These are available for 5 concurrent users, 10 concurrent users and unlimited connection licenses.
