Simpol Overview
The following points outline the product and service offerings with brief explanations as to the compelling reasons for using them. To make the basic company product and services strategy as clear as possible, the following points have been translated into various languages. Each version has the English original to the left, and the translated version to the right in a tabular format. See the list of links to the left for the various language versions of the text below.
- Simpol Limited is producing tools so that everyone can develop their own software applications quickly and easily in ways that were not previously possible — and not just by programming.
- Simpol Limited offers the complete multi-platform package. An application written in SIMPOL will run on the Linux, Mac OS-X and Windows operating systems without any changes. An end to compatibility problems.
- SIMPOL Developer Kit will enable ordinary computer users as well as professional developers to create both simple and complex software applications. Planned for 2008 / Q2
- SIMPOL Desktop will enable users to build data-rich applications without programming and to modify sample applications by allowing them to edit screens, create new printed reports and modify the underlying database. Planned for 2008 / Q2
- Versions will be produced in many languages, including German, Italian, Spanish, French, Russian and Chinese. Planned for 2008 / Q3 onwards
- A community of committed developers is being created who will be encouraged and rewarded to create sample applications.
- SIMPOL Mobile will enable users to create and modify applications that run on mobile computers, organizers, PDAs, and high-end mobile phones. Planned for 2008 / Q3
- SIMPOL Professional Services provides training and support for SIMPOL users. Superbase users can get support for the conversion to SIMPOL. This allows them to use their original Superbase applications on modern operating systems.
