Drop Down control not showing

I have been noticing that when I navigate to some forms that the field entries in in some drop-down boxes do
not show up right away. If I move back and forth to other records then then show up, but if I navigate to
another form and back, the contents disappear again. All of the other text controls show their contents fine.

What is the source for the combo boxes that are causing the problem? Is the content coming from another table, from a static list, or what?

Hi Neil,
The contents come from a static list. The content shows when the form is open in Personal, but not immediately when the form is opened in the project. If I scan through several records then eventually
the contents show up. Or if I re-select the content and save the record the contents will continue to show normally.
