One valuable capability of Superbase was its ability to export data in a variety of different formats. Is there an XLS converter in Simpol?

There is a CSV converter, and an XML converter. The problem with
producing an XLS converter is that there are simply too many formats to
support. The documentation that I pulled from the OpenOffice.org people
was over 200 pages, and that was before they released the newest
versions. CSV works quite well for this. I would be open to adding other
formats. That is one reason that the project is shipped in source code,
so that people can see how it is done.Ciao, Neil

to the same extent that Superbase did?I agree that supporting the whole thing is not practical; I thought about
doing that and downloaded the specification. Very quickly said: "nah".March 13, 2010 at 1:07 pm #1629MichaelKeymasterjim wrote:

question, "What will sell more copies of the product?", and that to a
very significant degree affects design choices. Currently the next big
target is the report side.Ciao, Neil
