What is Superbase NG Personal
Superbase NG Personal is an application included within your Superbase NG installation that acts as the host for various tools that are used in the development of applications using SIMPOL. Currently, it includes the following RAD (rapid application development) tools:
- Module for creating and modifying database tables
- Various views for modifying and deleting data
- Filtered selection
- Import and export tools for adding data from and extracting to external formats
- Design tool for creating and modifying display and print forms, as well as graphical reports and label definitions
- A form designer which can save and load forms and can save display forms to source code, so these can be used in other Superbase applications
- Ad-hoc (quick) report tool for creating, running, saving and loading reports to various targets
- Graphical report tool for creating, running, saving and loading reports to various targets
- Printing module for printing records, forms, system status and table status
The various components created using Superbase NG Personal are directly usable by the various libraries which are included as part of Superbase NG
